The village of Thundertree is located on the Western edge of the Neverwinter Woods. Thundertree started out as a logging camp, but over the years it has developed into a small village. The hardy folk who live here make a meager living harvesting wood for shipment to Neverwinter, where it is either exported or converted into finished goods by the craftsmen of the City of Skilled Hands.

Life in Thundertree has always been fraught with danger from denizens of Neverwinter Wood, but the level of threat has been rising in recent times. Lumberjacks have been disappearing at an alarming rate, threatening Neverwinter's lumber and woodcraft trade. Threats from the Arcane Brotherhood, the Kraken Society, and the Zhentarim have prevented Lord Nasher from dispatching troops to Thundertree. For this reason, the people of the village welcome the aid of adventurers.

The village of Thundertree is a non-PvP area.
